2010 sophomore album from the Brooklyn-based Indie Rockers.
Yeasayer released their first album in 2007 and toured with sold out shows around the world. Now, Odd Blood is shaping up to be a highly successful record for the three piece.
The album spans the musical spectrum, blending the twisted, ambient rhythms and global sound of their debut release with forceful ambitious electronics and hook-laden playful Pop.

Beach House
Teen Dream
Recorded in upstate New York, in a converted church called Dreamland with producer/engineer Chris Coady (who has worked with TV on the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Blonde Redhead, and a bunch of others) Teen Dream is the third album from the Baltimore-based duo Beach House, and their Sub Pop debut.
The new album gives voice to a full universe of unbridled imagination, and the manifestation of Teen Dream has been a welcomed and all-consuming obsession for Beach House the past 9-12 months.
The CD is packaged with a companion DVD featuring a video for each song on the album, each by a different director.

Campfire Songs
2010 Reissue.
The third album from Baltimore four-piece Animal Collectiveis comprised of five back-to-back tracks which were recorded in one take.

Other ambient noises were overdubbed onto the album afterwards, but in general the recording process was very simple.

Florence and the Machine
Lungs
Florence Welch, better known alongside her band as Florence + The Machine, confidently announces her arrival on Lungs.
With several strong singles taking up a fair portion of this debut release, it’s clear that Welch is as much a pop writer as she is a left-field artist, despite the early influence of punk and grunge on her life.
Musically, these influences are tempered by an admiration for soul and contemporary indie.
Welch also received the Critics’ Choice award at the Brits in 2009, usually a sign of big things to come. Includes the singles “You’ve Got The Love” and “Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)”.
