Thee Silver Mt Zion Memorial Orchestra - Kollaps Tradixionales

Thee Silver Mt Zion Memorial Orchestra

Kollaps Tradixionales

With Godspeed You! Black Emperor seemingly no more, or at least missing presumed lost, Silver Mt Zion are now the main outlet for former GYBE main man Efrim Menuck.

Kollaps Tradixionales is the band’s sixth album, and the first under this variation of their name. It’s also the first recorded outing of this particular line up, with the band having had something of a re-staffing over the last year or two.

Nitzer Ebb - Compilation

Nitzer Ebb

Compilation

Import three CD collection from the Electronic/Industrial duo featuring a CD of 19 of their finest tracks plus two discs containing remixes.

Nitzer Ebb cut a dynamic swathe through the Industrial music and Balaeric beat scenes of the 1980s and ‘90s.

They were Electro-Punks before the genre even existed, at a time when The Prodigy were not even a gleam in fellow Essex boy Liam Howlett’s eye.

Militaristic, intimidating yet always accessible, Nitzer Ebb enjoyed a string of ferocious club hits and released five critically acclaimed albums on Mute.

From their first-ever single, 1984’s ‘Isn’t It Funny How Your Body Works’ through to their final 1995 single ‘I Thought’, they were a band whose honed aggression, originality and precision were impeccable.

43 tracks.

Kraftwerk - Ralf & Florian

Kraftwerk

Ralf & Florian

The third album from the early two-man version of Kraftwerk—and easily their most futuristic effort to date !

There’s a cleaner electric sound here than before—and one that’s a lot more tuneful too, really setting the scene for Autobahn and other big 70s classics to come.

Yet there’s also still more of the experimental, progressive qualities in the work too—sounds that still really stretch out, even as more song-structured music starts to fall into place.

Plenty of great keyboards over spare rhythms—and a set of tracks that includes “Elektrisches Roulette”, “Tongebirge”, “Tanzmusik”, “Anans Symphonie”, and “Kristallo”

Six Organs of Admittance and Joseph Mattson - Empty the Sun Book and CD

Six Organs of Admittance and Joseph Mattson

Empty the Sun Book and CD

Ben Chasny of Six Organs of Admittance and writer Joseph Mattson have collaborated to create Empty the Sun, a new book-with-soundtrack project.

A new novel by JOSEPH MATTSON featuring music by SIX ORGANS OF ADMITTANCE. Available in First Trade Paperback Edition with CD soundtrack.

‘Here I was, doing ninety on the Santa Monica Freeway with a quart of whiskey shoved into my crotch and my dead neighbor in the trunk. It had come time to leave Los Angeles.’

Thus begins the pre-apocalyptic, cross-country race with death to bury the murdered past in Joseph Mattson’s Empty the Sun, an urgent, beautifully reckless novel of transgressive loss and hunted redemption culminating in a shotgun fight with God.

Includes an open-road, open-whiskey soundtrack by enigmatic and stunning Drag City recording artist Six Organs of Admittance

Nurse With Wound - Chance Meeting On A Dissecting Table Of A Sewing Machine And An Umbrella

Nurse With Wound

Chance Meeting On A Dissecting Table Of A Sewing Machine And An Umbrella

The long awaited re-issue of the timeless NWW debut release from 1979.

Described by “Sounds” at the time as a record that “makes The Faust Tapes sound like Carousel”. Nothing has changed to alter this view over the last 30 years, and to say that this work is the “Sgt. Pepper of the avant garde” would not be hyperbole.
