Disc One contains the original album in magnificent remastered sound while Disc Two features 14 demos including early versions of album cuts and a previously unreleased track (‘Throw Those Trolls Away’).

Wild Nothing is the solo project of Virginia born Jack Tatum.

Despite his youth (Tatum is in his early twenties) his music is the product of romantic nostalgia and an obsession with the sounds of the past.

Reminiscent of The Cure, Cocteau Twins and My Bloody Valentine, the songs on ‘Gemini’ sound familiar but slightly warped, somehow revivalist and modern at the same time.

For the first time, the band opted to work with both a brass and string arranger on some songs, but rather than overpower with swathes of violins and trumpets, they form a core part of each track rather than an awkward add-on.
